SPONSORED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM
Fully sponsored Flight Instructor program at Pilot Flight Academy
Pilot Flight Academy (PFA) is inviting applicants to a fully sponsored Flight Instructor Program with an attractive career program and an attractive 5/4 working roster.
The application process is open and ongoing, and it is planned for two flight instructor courses in 2018, the next course will start in week 19.
To successful applicants we will offer:
a) A fully sponsored EASA Flight Instructor course with ground school and 30 flight hours + assessment flight and licence issuing cost.
b) Full time employment as a flight instructor at PFA with a bonding of 12 moths from the day of internal training course which will start soon after the candidate has obtained his/her licence with FI(A)-rating.
c) Salary first 12 months is NOK 25 000 per month, and increasing to app. 29 000 from month 13. Salaries will increase with additional rights as Instrument Flight Instructor and Multi Engine Instructor.
PFA is paying for annual fees for medical and necessary annual revalidations etc.
d) A stepwise sponsored career path to become Instrument Flight Instructor and Multi Engine Flighty Instructor with increased salaries.
• Hold a valid EASA CPL(A) IR ME with frozen ATPL theory and valid SEP and in addition meet all the pre-entry requirements for a FI(A)
• Speak and write fluent English
• Be eligible to live and work in Norway
Applicants will be assessed in a two-step process.
1) Application and document check

Suitable candidates will be invited to a one-day assessment session at Pilot Flight Academy in Norway. Conditions for candidates who enter the sponsored Flight Instructor Program
a) If a candidate during the course is found incompetent to become a flight instructor at PFA, the candidate may be dismissed form the course without any compensation.
This decision of such dismissal lies fully with PFA.
A candidate who is dismissed by such ruling by PFA will not be charged for the part of the education he/she has been undertaking.
b) If a candidate wants by his/her own will to end the Flight Instructor course before starting on the job as a Flight Instructor at PFA, the candidate will have to pay for the part of the Flight Instructor that he/she has commenced. The full price of the course is NOK 110 000.
c) A candidate whom by serious inappropriate behaviour, or by serious unsatisfactory conduct is by PFA deemed unfit to hold a position as an employee at PFA may be dismissed from the FI-course and be charged for the part of the education he/she has been undertaking.
d) If a candidate wants by his/her own will to end the Flight Instructor job at PFA within the bonding period, the candidate shall pay PFA 1/12 of the full FI-course cost + fees etc. for every month of work not completed. E.g. if he/she wants to leave after five and a half months, the candidate shall pay PFA 7/12 of this cost.
The same apply if the candidate by serious inappropriate behaviour, or serious unsatisfactory conduct of duties is by PFA deemed unfit to hold his/her position as an employee.
